Second Winter Update

Currently the three day thaw is coming to an end.  There was not enough of a melt to get all the ice and snow off of the greens.  This means I will be watching the weather closely over the next month.  If mother-nature doesn’t lend a helping hand to get rid of the rest of the snow and ice, we will have to take matters into our own hands and try to remove the ice ourselves.  It is a last resort action, so the decision to do it has to be made carefully.

Here are some pictures of the first and second holes.  It shows what we are left with after the mild days and the precipitation that we received.

These are pictures of the 1st and 2nd green, my phone died after that but most of the greens are the same.  Some grass is exposed and then their is some under ice as well.
